Eye Types
Eye Types

Macular degeneration damages the macula (center of the retina) making it difficult to see fine details. It is an eye disorder that impacts the central vision. There are two types, “wet” and “dry.”

Macular Degeneration is relatively easy to diagnose. The key is catching it early, before it steals your sight. We will test for it in every annual eye exam, but if you have symptoms of blurriness, wavy lines or spots in your line of vision, make an appointment with your eye doctor immediately by calling our office at 410/546-2500.
