Our practice is committed to providing our patients with the best care possible.  Making this happen is not limited to just our in office exam.  We feel it is also important to educate our patients on eye diseases they may currently have, or could possibly be at risk for.  Below, you will find various resources to help you learn more about common ophthalmologic conditions.  If you have recently been diagnosed with an eye condition that you don't see information pertaining to, please call our office (410-546-2500) and we will be more than glad to provide you with educational information.

National Eye Institute (NIH) 
A wonderful website provided by the National Eye Institute with educational information on many ophthalmic problems, as well as, anatomy of the eye and glossary of eye terminology.

National Institute of Health (eye) 
A wonderful website provided by the National Institute of Health showing eye disease simulations related to Age-Related Macular Degeneration, Cataracts, Diabetic
Retinopathy, Glaucoma, Myopia, and Retinitis Pigmentosa.

A website dedicated to eye care education for the eye care consumer, written and prepared exclusively by board-certified ophthalmologists.  Includes news, a dictionary of conditions, information about procedures, and more.

American Macular Degeneration Foundation
This site focuses on the prevention, treatment, and cure of macular degeneration through educating the public.
